HIBLOW HP-80 Rebuild Video (same for HP-40 to HP-200 models) with safety slide switch
How to repair your HP Series Pump in 20 minutes or less
HP Series pumps are built to last for many years. The only moving parts in the pump are the umbrella valves – located in the casing blocks, and the diaphragms which are attached to the rod. Typically, after 4-5 years, the diaphragms will eventually rupture. When this happens, the safety slide switch moves off center and power to the pump is cut.
Unlike many other linear diaphragm pumps, installing a HIBLOW repair kit will extend the life of the pump for several years. We recommend repairing the pump 2 times before buying a new one.
Click on the following link for a demonstration of how to replace the filter and install the new casing blocks and diaphragms.
